Eagle Mountain Lake Park is set to open on April 17, 2008. Presently, as you can see from the pictures below, some construction is still ongoing in preparation for the grand opening. The Park will not allow horses nor will it allow dogs to run loose due to the potential to frighten existing wildlife and possible damage to some plants. Trails will be available for access to the park but vehicles cannot go beyond the parking lot. The park is approximately 400 acres and has about 7000 feet of lake frontage. Presently there is no ramp access to the lake for boaters and it is not clear whether this will change. If you would like more information on the park, go online to the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD). The park is located on Morris Dido Road near the intersection of Peden Road.
