| Why Get Pre-Qualified?
1. Pre-qualification is like a dress rehearsal for the loan application process. The McDaniel Group (Cendera Lending) will use information you provide about your credit, income, assets and debts to determine how much mortgage you might be able to afford. This process is totally free to you and usually takes us less than one hour of your time to complete.
2. "Pre-quals" as they are called in the mortgage industry, do not commit the lender to providing you a loan because the lender is only collecting preliminary and unverified information from the prospective buyer. However, it is usually necessary to provide a "pre-qual" to the seller when making an offer on a property to give them a general idea of your credit worthiness.
3. Indeed, most sellers will NOT accept an offer without at least a pre-approval letter. The pre-approval letter is sent to you once you have been pre-qualified by the lender. This is the first step you will need to take toward an actual purchase of a home. |
